Roscoe has set his OV's. We are due up on 10/9. My understnding is that Roscoe is deciding in the spring so if we get Barnes he may still choose to go elsewhere (though I'd love to see him as Barnes' backup...)

Roscoe Smith, the No. 6 small forward in the Class of 2010 out of Oak Hill (Va.) Academy, has set his official visits. The 6-foot-7, 185-pound Smith will take five visits beginning with Georgetown this weekend.

Oct. 9 – Duke
Oct. 16 – UConn

The staff is back on Roscoe Smith. He's also considering UCON and Georgetown. On a good note, he's still considering us even though he always knew Barnes was our first choice. But I imagine it'll be an uphill battle going forward.

Flip of a coin here? Does he dislike barnes so much that he'd come to Duke just to play against him and try to shut him down or does he tell us to take a hike because he wasn't our 1st choice?
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

That's what I wonder. It almost seems like he was content to wait for Barnes to decide - we have remained in his top 3 throughout the process.

Bummer. With Singler's departure coming either this year or next, that position is going to be important to fill.

Smith doesn't have a criminal record, does he?
Well, maybe he soon will.
