House and Big Bang both premier tonight - :-bd :-bd

(Heroes also premiers - I gave up on it but Mr. Windsor is still hanging in)

The long summer of nothin' on is over! The DVRs are ready...and week from now I'll be 'behind' in my TV watching again.

I've added Flash Forward to my 'record' list becasue it looks interesting....anything I'm missing on the new show horizon?

Very excited about HIMYM and BBT tonight. It's ashame they're not back to back like normal though.

Watched Community last week. Not impressed.

Guess I need to try Flash Forward, everyone seems to be up for it.

Damn I wish LOST were starting up this fall!!!!

My wife is a Jenna Elfman fan from her "Dharma and Greg" days, so she's looking forward to that "Accidentally On Purpose" or whatever it's called. She's also gonna give "Cougar Town" a chance, just because she likes Courteney Cox. I'm gonna give "The Forgotten" a shot cause I like Christian Slater. We both are gonna watch that "Modern Family" show because we individually like several of the actors. I'll of course be checking out "Caprica" and "Stargate Universe", but those aren't for a while. I'll give "Flash Forward" and "Trauma" and "The Good Wife" a shot, but I doubt I'll stick with them. My wife is a HUGE "NCIS" fan, so she's looking forward to "NCISLA". I'll watch "Hank" cause I'm a homer for Kelsey Grammar and it's about a rich family that loses everything and has to move from NY to VA, where I'm from. Can't wait to see the redneck stereotypes they play up to on THAT one. I'll probably check out "The Middle" because wifey likes Heaton and I like the Janitor from Scrubs (ABC seems to have a LOT of Scrubs veterans with new shows this fall). I'll probably watch at least one episode of "Eastwick" just cause I loved the movie, but I doubt it'll live up. I'll probably try to catch "Mercy" cause I'm a sucker for that kind of show. We'll probably end up watching "Three Rivers" because my wife is SUCH an O'Loughlin fan, and loved "Moonlight" so much.

Ugh, I try not to watch anything starring Scientologists. It's getting harder and harder.

Man, how do you find any movie or tv show that doesn't have at least one scientologist on it somewhere?

I'm giving "Flash Forward" a fair chance. Hopefully it'll keep me interested until LOST starts... early next year. UGH

Actually, I think there are one or two that I'm NOT. ;) Besides, by mid October, half of them will be canceled anyway.

The start of a new television season is a date ripe with meaninglessness for me.
It's funny; I really like TV, but I haven't sat down weekly to watch any show since 'The Sopranos' went off the air, or for a network show since 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' (yes, really) went off.
As far as I'm concerned, the only freshly begun season that really matters is the football one.

I'm recording TBBT to watch later. Need to get to bed earlier than have been since I now have to be at work at 6:50ish a.m. Sigh!

Soooo, you do not like Tom Cruise, John Travolta? hmmm, that's all I know ..... The Scientology doesn't leak through the movie....

Yeah it would be way worth it. As a Star Wars fan who loathed the prequels, Clone Wars is a refreshing saviour to the franchise. Great writing..and it is supposed to get darker this season.

Good to know. I'll have to check it out too...in about 2.5 months.

One of the cool things about Clone Wars is that it goes back to the serial roots Star Wars was created from. The story arcs run 3 episodes or so, and end in a "tune in next week" type announcement. The animation kicks ass too.
