Got this email from Jacob Powers today. Anyone interested in their food? I'm thinking not, but it is up to y'all.
Tailgate Crew,

Thank you to everyone who showed up last week in Blue Devil Alley. The atmosphere you guys created was unreal. Coach was so excited when he made the turn and saw everyone lining their tents and cheering on our team. We did have a few people that were late and a few that didn’t show up. I am in the process of contacting the groups that didn’t show and get that wrinkle ironed out for next week.

I wanted to send out the tailgate menu from Thrills From The Grill. Belo (owner) has put together a very good menu for everyone. I look for everyone to be at their tents when the team walks through around 4:30 on the 26th.

Menu:

Pecan-smoked BBQ Pork

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Strips

Buns, Texas Pete and Belo Sauce

Cole Slaw

Hushpuppies

Freshly Baked Assorted Cookies and Dessert Bars

Sweet and Unsweet Tea

Pricing:

$12/person 10-20 people

$11/person 20 and above

To place order please call Thrills from the Grill directly at 919-220-5787. When you place the order you will be able to pick up the food on site 3 hours before the game.

Wonder if it's time for a sticky for the 9/26 Edition or should be wait until after we have wreaked havoc on Tilly's joint to start discussing the menu for Homecoming?

We gotta wait until at least the Sunday before. I am stickying Tilly's party however.

Bud & will be out of town for this game. :( :( I will be bringing our tickets to Tilley's Sat. So, if anyone needs them, your welcome to them.

Time to look forward to the next game...who's coming? Who's bringing what? I was all fired up to smoke some barbecue for Tilly's party, and still am, so that's what I'll be bringing to the NCCU game. Since it's a late game, I might bring my smoker and do it onsite game day. I'll decide on that this week.

I'll bring chips and salsa. I'm saving mimosas for games with earlier start times. GO DUKE!!

We have a wedding at noon in Raleigh/Ralegh with a reception to follow. There will be serious marital negotiations in next 1-5 days to decide on what time we'll leave the reception (I say 330 PM) so we can be home before 4 PM and leave for Brunchgate shortly thereafter and arrive around 430 PM. We'll see what we need to bring later in the week as the list is compiled. for tasting AND trading is a given. Son of devildeac is supposed to accompany us.

I'm bringing the 1/4 pound hot dogs that no one but me and CB&B had last time. They've been in the freezer since I got home so they are still good! I'll also have another case of Bud Light :D

If anyone knows where to find footlong buns to go with those dogs it would be great. The hot dogs are way tasty, they deserve a bun to match!
