Have you ever made, then eaten Tuna Spaghetti?

I love to cook, and realize these two items do not go together well at all. Still, I must admit, I've done it.......and I did it again the other day just for the hell of it. So sue me. I actually kind of like it and it makes the perfect energy dish before playing a sport (key: portion control).

Anyone else ever mix these items together? Anyone else have other odd food mixes they enjoy?

I would have voted Hell No, but I've cooked some pretty whacked out dishes when I was whacked out. Not tuna spaghetti whacked out, but it's always possible.

I voted Hell No. Partially because I don't know how to cook Tuna, and partially because I don't like fish in general.

I've enjoyed mixing breakfast cereals for as long as I can remember. Still do. I eat regular Cheerios that are sweetened by honey-nut Cheerios.
Someone else here, can't remember who, mentioned french fries with a chocolate shake as a dipping sauce. I thought I was the only freak on the planet, that once had an issue with this weirdness.

This makes me weep.
I have an odd combination or two that I really like, though. One of them is a cracker (of your choice...I usually go with classic Triscuit or Ritz) with a smear of peanut butter, then a dollop of horseradish (to taste) on top of that.
Surprisingly delicious.

BTW, I invented the Peanut Butter and Jelly Samwitch. I've been looking for the royalties for over 45 years.
Oh well. I have heard of the Peanut Butter and salami samwitch, yet have never tried one and never want to!

That actually sounds good to me and I shall most certainly try it. My dad used to eat peanut butter and sandwich relish sandwiches. Though thin as a toothpick, he was the Elvis of odd food creation.

Come to think of it, almost anything is good on peanut butter...........except tuna........and perhaps urine.

A combination of grilled tuna and medium or wide fettuccine... spinach fettuccine perhaps... might be good with a white sauce such as a Parmesan or Asiago Veccho sauce. What do you think?

I was contemplating the same concept..... .... but, I have to say it might be feasible on a bed of noodles (aka spaghetti). I think I've mixed Tuna with Mac n' cheese which is close and I seem to recall that was OK, but it was out of a CAN. If I have a fresh Tuna steak, that baby is going on the grill and I'll be fixing some veggies and rice with it!!!!!

I do tuna and Mac...but there is a huge difference between that and and elegant dish like good spaghetti in a red sauce. We'll send you down to DitBD's tent as the CTN taster.

The flavanistic thing about clams and pasta is the largely the sauce. Perhaps the white sauce would indeed make this a dish to be relished by the masses. I shall experiment (I think).

You left out the option for, "Yes, I have created this entree, but did not enjoy it."

take a can of tuna (drained) and add a dash of salt and pepper......some chopped onion and bell pepper....about a tablespoon of flour.....and an egg. Mix well and shape into patties.......fry in a small amount of oil (not deep frying....just a little in the pan to keep em from sticking) till crispy on both sides
my mom used to make these ALL the time when i was a kid and i still love em......YUM

OR you can do canned mackerel on crackers.... with hot sauce. Dayum good!

I make a mix of canned Albacore that is folded into blended mayo, brown mustard, Worchestershire and dry Cajun blended spices.
Lightly toast the insides of a split whole wheat sub roll.
Lay mix on roll and top with 3 or 4 slices of bacon.

Don't mix with others socially for the next 2 hours.

Fish shouldn't be eaten from a can.

Dang, that sounds good too! well, 'cept the bacon ( am not much of a bacon person).
I may try this during the week. I just cannot have it for lunch at the office. ha ha, definiely a dinner type thing!
