I'd wager they thought it might be too much of a popularity contest and they don't like "personal" topics over yonder.

If one attempts to get famous over there, doesn't one get banned?

Seriously, I think banning criteria are:
repeated profanity
insulting other posters/athletes
accumulation of infraction points for other various violations within short periods of time
personal request
and,
of course,
too many polls!

Shouldn't this topic be over on the "What I Like Most About CrazieTalk" thread?

Geez, I'm not very famous at all. My life is not so valuable over there, snif.
Well, I guess that calls for a beer!

You forgot getting on the bad side of one, or more, of their mods. I had only ever had one infraction (entailed very few points and didn't even warrant a time out) yet was permanently banned.

Re: How famous are you on the DBR?
I'd wager that they were worried that someone would call out one of the mods by pointing out how unpopular they are (or something to that effect). Then again, I think most of the people who would be most likely to do that have ended up over here.devildeac wrote:I'd wager they thought it might be too much of a popularity contest and they don't like "personal" topics over yonder.

It was never clear whether the contest was about being famous or infamous.
And by whose standards?
