Doubtful that we'll make it to this brunchgate. Discretion being the better part of valor, Sarah shouldn't make it a very long day. So we're going to try just the game this time in the hopes of living to fight another day.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Happiest of Anniversaries!
Look forward to celebrating with y'all at Brunchgate tomorrow!

We're hoping to bump into some of you in the stands, though. We moved our seats over to the shady side this year. Don't have our tickets with me right now but I'll look 'em up when I get home and try to let somebody know where the heck we are......I think they are on about the South end 40 about halfway up. There will be four of us...the "O.P.", me, Ima-the-Daughter, and Native.
Let's hope the guys are more prepared than the Pack was last night. Sheesh!

If you've made it past #7 I believe you are home free for a while. (Just a theory I have.) The next test comes when the kids leave home and you look at each other like strangers because you've been so busy for the last 18 or 20 years. (That CAN be a really fun time, actually! The OP and I went out on second "first dates" then.) Now then, check back with me to see if we make it through the adjustment to retirement. Remember, wives never retire. Their workload just gets heavier. And my friends tell me that retirement is just another word for "more husband, less money"! We'll see how we do with THAT before I set myself up as an expert!bjornolf wrote:Happy Anniversary! We haven't even made it to 10 yet. Any advice for the youngsters on how to last that long?
