Chat Tutorial
This is going to be a thread for those coming in and new to the chat room. I'd like it be instructional, so even though we all love side remarks, I'm going to delete them if I see them. (Maybe I'll just move them, deleting is harsh). Anyone who has issues, bugs, suggestions about the chat room, please add to this thread.

CrazieTalk.Net Chat Room Tutorial

Login....register at http://www.crazietalk.net/ourhouse and join us at http://www.crazietalk.net/ourhouse/chat

You don't have to register to join the chat, you can enter a username and leave the password field blank.

Once you are logged in, you will notice a chat window on the left, a user panel on the right. Your name is listed on the right, with options beneath. To hide the options, click on your name
To see the options for another user, click on their name.
Coding options are available within the chat toolbar. These options work the same way as they do in the forums.
You can select which channel you are in at the top of the page. Each forum has a room, so during basketball games you will most likely find a crowd in the basketball channel.
You can change styles. When you leave, you will come back to the same style you last chose.
You can change languages, but it's not suggested or supported. You will not change the language of the chat room. (Although that would be flat out awesome and make someone tons of money). You will change the language of everything else on the page. And unless you speak Polish, you might not make it back.
Site mods are in green.
Site admins are in red.
Users are dark grey.
You can use any smiley you want.
You can post pictures...but think tasteful please.
You can roll dice.
Play around. A lot. You will figure it out faster.

Where would one find the chat room link, and the calendar for that matter, on the crazietalk home page?

Those are coming as we develop the front page. Right now, you just have to bookmark them.

Have fun in chat today, y'all. We are heading to a noon wedding and reception and then to Brunchgate by 5 PM to be followed by a soggy, but hopefully victorious evening at WW.
