Luckily for all of you, I won't flash. I was hoping to link to YT and embed stuff that might be of interest.

According to the main settings, flash is available. I didn't have to turn it off. Here is what it says....
Allow use of [FLASH] BBCode tag in posts: (yes)
If disallowed the [FLASH] BBCode tag is disabled in posts. Otherwise the permission system controls which users can use the [FLASH] BBCode tag.

Ahhhh...there were separate permissions buried deeper. It should work now.

Some of the "getting" has to do with growing up in that environment/area of the country.

Some of it is the basics or R&R.

To post an embedded video via Flash:

1) Click on the FLASH button
2)You'll get the following:
3) Paste the URL for the video you are linking to between the two flash messages. From youtube, I copied the following: From this, you need to keep: http://www.youtube.com/v/iQDiKGRut80&hl=en&fs=1&

4) After the = sign after the first flash enter the dimensions of the video, it will often be included in what you have copied and pasted. In this case above, you would use the values 425,344 thusly flash=425,344.

5) With all that done, you would get the following from the above:
