Pitchfork is doing there best of the 2000s beginning this week and going through the new year. Up first: top 500 songs of the decade.

*for those unaware, Pitchfork leans heavily on the indie side of music, which is often its downfall.

Before tomorrow's final list (songs 50-1) is released, I want to make some predictions. The best song of decade, according to Pitchfork, will be "All My Friends" by LCD Soundsystem, barely edging out Oukast's "Hey Ya".
