Shouldn't that be soda? ;)DukeUsul wrote:What is your favorite cola?
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Re: Favorite Cola
Hmm. I thought focusing just on colas would make this easier. Opening it up to all soda (pop?) would make for too large a poll.

Like wilson said, it's all Coke. Although there are times when an RC Cola is just the thing. I hate Pepsi.

Re: Favorite Cola
I prefer Coke and will purchase it when I have a choice. But I have no problem with Pepsi, RC or store brands if that's what's available.

Re: Favorite Cola
I voted for Coke.
When I was in law school, my friends would ask, "Can I bring you a Coke," as they were heading toward the vending machine. Invariably, they would bring me back a Diet Coke. BLECH!
I learned to specify "Fat Coke, please."
I don't drink Coke anymore unless I'm at a place that doesn't serve sweet tea.
I keep Coke in the fridge for my Sam, but not for Christian. I'm getting ready for the changeover this weekend.

Agreed, but do you count Coke's "Zero" line in that category? Because I think those are great products. I'm at the point now where I'll choose Cherry Coke Zero over anything else.DukeUsul wrote: I would rather eat sand than drink a diet beverage.

Oooh, I really hope this thread doesn't break your mojo..... I just thought about that. Everyone was arguing about colas and I had the urge.Bostondevil wrote:Like wilson said, it's all Coke. Although there are times when an RC Cola is just the thing. I hate Pepsi.

I do. All artificial sweeteners taste like garbage. They aren't sweet and have a bitter aftertaste. I don't understand them.wilson wrote:Agreed, but do you count Coke's "Zero" line in that category? Re: Favorite Cola
Went to the annual cookout at my boss's house. More than one doc has told me that if drinking Coke is the worst thing I do to myself, I really don't need to worry about it so much. Kinda makes quitting a lot harder.

Re: Favorite Cola
I pretty much find all colas too sweet for me. Don't really like diet sodas. If I've going to have a pop, it'll be Dr. Pepper or root beer, or on rare occasion, Mountain Dew. All in all, I'd rather have a beer.

Re: Favorite Cola
I voted Coke also, but OMG, when my sis comes over, she has to have Diet Coke! IS THERE REALLY A DIFFERENCE? My Mom is into alot of healthy remedies and makes no bones (excuse the pun, ) about saying that she discovered some study a few weeks ago that said "if a person drinks 1 soda a day for a year, they will gain 25lbs"! Whatever she read, made a believer of her!

Re: Favorite Cola
I usually pick up a 20 oz Diet Coke with Lime when I stop for the morning papers on the way to work. I can't drink regular pop any more - it's so sweet I think I can feel my teeth rotting. Sweet tea is different though....

Re: Favorite Cola
Pepsi is my primary preference, bottle first, can second, fountain least fave.DukeUsul wrote:What is your favorite cola?
Then after Pepsi I'll go for whatever is on sale, Coke,,,, RC, whatever. I used to be a Pepsi/RC brander, but I've refined over the years!
To add to the confab.... Milk and Pepsi (mixed).... whose a fan? I "discovered" it about ten years ago and found it quite enjoyable.
Granted it's no Pepsi and moonpie, or Coke and peanuts.... but it was enjoyable!
