Just thought I'd check back in to tell y'all that we are definitely doing better around here. Ima-the-Daughter is free of tubes and wound vacuums and is trying work this week. Although she is not completely recovered....still the anemia and edema, and a wound that hasn't healed completely.....we are very, very encouraged and thankful for this wonderful progress after a long and very wearing fifteen months.
There is no doubt in my mind that you guys have played a major role in keeping me from going off the deep end. Please know that I continue to vibe for all of you who are going through some really ragged times right now. I love you guys and am so looking forward to meeting those of you I haven't so far.
Bless your one great big collective heart!!!!!
Love, Ima

We love you right back, Ima! This is truly good news! I can sympathize with the effort it takes to get back to work after being away for an extended period of time and know each day can be better than the one before it. You and your daughter have courage!
A friend years ago had a wonderful bumper sticker on her little red truck. It said, "Don't think women can lead? You're following one." I'd reword the sentiment and say, "Looking for inspiration? Follow this woman!"

Great news, Ima! Vibes are still coming for continued progress.

This is GREAT news! I'm ready to break out into a chorus of "Happy Days Are Here Again!"
Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
So lets sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again
Altogether shout it now
Theres no one
Who can doubt it now
So lets tell the world about it now
Happy days are here again
Your cares and troubles are gone
Therell be no more from now on
From now on...
and modulate into a new key and sing it again and again!

That's great progress.
Let's hope the things that still are not 100% get completely healed. And let's hope for a smooth transition at work!!

Yay for ImaDaughter, and her progress back to health! Here's hoping that it's two steps forward, no steps back, from here on out.
And yay for you, too, Ima - you've been such a trooper. I hope you'll treat yourself to a nice mani/pedi or something equivalently self-indulgent as a thank you to yourself for being so strong for your daughter for so long. You deserve it!

I just hopped on to quickly check and see what's up and I'm so glad to see this! Best to you and your daughter (and family)!
