With softball and baseball now under way, this is a needed thread. Both teams have high hopes and expectations, with baseball near the top 10 and softball solidly in it.

Each is playing in invitationals this weekend.

Baseball stands at 1-0, with a game tomorrow against George Mason and Sunday against #18 Coastal Carolina. (At CC's stadium.)
Softball is 6-1, with their sole loss against #1 Oklahoma. They play two games Saturday and one on Sunday.

Really looking forward to watching both teams again this year!

Thanks for starting this thread. I enjoy following the baseball team. This year’s team has strong pitching so the outlook is bright. The goal is Omaha.

It's a record setting day, and it's not over. Duke is piling on the homers, score now 18-4 in the 7th.

Every Duke player has a hit.

Still in the 7th, it's 21-4.

Today’s game versus Coastal Carolina is at 3 pm. Coastal lost to Indiana 7-2 yesterday.

Softball got rained out after Duke got an early 3-1 lead, baseball had an impressive true road win at Coastal Carolina.
Excellent weekend for both teams!

I watched the entire game on ESPN App. It was an exciting win. Tentatively, Zeke and myself plan to attend next Sunday’s game at 12:00 noon. I’m going to watch the weather forecast as the progresses.

The game was enjoyable yesterday but it was cold sitting in the shade.

Both baseball and softball continued their winning streaks. Softball had some crazy numbers,
with one of Sunday's game being 14-0, and one of Saturday's being 22-0, both in only five innings.

Duke with a 2-0 lead on Akron in T4.

Duke falls to Akron 4-3 on Saturday. We must bounce back today and win the series.

Softball sweeps Syracuse and Baseball takes their series 2 of 3.

Both Jayla Wright and Jonathan Santucci were named the ACC's Pitcher of the Week. (Wright's second of the season)

Ooo, nice. I haven't been following softball as closely as I have in past years. Busy times.

Both teams won yesterday, both teams are rained out today.

The baseball game was a squeaker, with Duke escaping App State 28-2.

Softball pitched another shutout today.

Baseball beat #1 Wake Forest, WOOOO!!! First time since 2016 that Duke has beaten a #1 team. Tonight was in Winston-Salem.
One more win and Duke will have a huge series victory under their belt.
