The weather is looking good, and thankfully not as hot with a high of 88. Here's the call from WRAL weather.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies at times with scattered showers and storms possible this afternoon and evening. Highs in the mid 80s-90.

By the way, our local Walmart has those disposable ponchos on clearance sale. Normally they are 1.38, but now they are a quarter each.
I bought 20, and may get 20 more, and will have them at tailgates this year.

We have a mutual friend on Facebook that also happens to be a Duke football fan. I "met" James Welch because he had posted in a Dead & Company group that I'm also a member of. I know he was at the Clemson game, I'm guessing he'll be at Lafayette too.

I will not attend the game against the Frenchmen, but ...My prediction: Lafayette surrenders midway into the second quarter...

A game that's over before halftime means more fun back at the tailgate.

If anyone needs free tix, I know of at least three available. Tomorrow is employee day, so that should make for a good crowd for the first two quarters.

Don't get trampled in the stampede at halftime.

Weather is now calling for off and on rain leading up to game time, but once we hit kick off the chance for precipitation starts dropping off a really good bit.

Knowing that, I'm bringing out two extra tents, and won't be setting table cloths. Reminder that I've got lots of spare disposable ponchos. While we might not get rained on in the stadium, they can be good for keeping your butt dry.
