We're going to the game but we're not sure when we'll get there, because we are seeing the matinee performance of Wicked at the DPAC at 2:00. Should be there by 5:30 or so, hopefully. Anybody got any extra tickets? We'll need at least two.

Cheermom plus two for a total of three. Since a salad is already on the menu we will bring some fruit.

I will not attend the game against the Frenchmen, but Andrew and Kaitlyn and three of their close pals will watch the carnage and partake of the tailgating feast beforehand. They will put cash in the jar. My prediction: Lafayette surrenders midway into the second quarter...

Okay, for hoi polloi [the people], it's the now traditional Dear Wife Baked Iced Lemon Cake. And it's for sure. There has been a debate among various Christian denomination about the validity of infant baptism. One person said, "I not only believe in it, I've seen it!" Well, I my own little self helped package four sweet Iced Lemon Cakes and put them in the freezer. Debate over!

Regarding Italian beer, let's not cast shade on Peroni. I mean it's not quite Yuengling beer, but neither is Coors Light. In truth, I Iove my NC IPAs.

Sorry, but SonPhredd has decided he does not want to spend time at a wet football stadium on his last evening home for three months, so the Phredd Phamily is going to abandon this one. Yes, we are phair-weather phans. OK, let's be honest: That may overstate our degree of football fandom. Since this is a last-second bailout, we will hook up with you at a later time, and still reimburse the cookie jar for the three slots.

It's not a doctor's office where you if you don't show up you still get billed. It's a minor miracle that we had the number today that did show up to get rained on.
No apologies, no guilt...just show up when you can and have a good time when you do.

Outstanding lasagna, baked spaghetti, tomato/cucumber salad, garlic parm toast, Costcos, pizza bites, brownies and iced lemon pound cake. Didn't get any of the linguini (my loss). Thanks, Chris!!!!

When I attend a tailgate, I never feel like I'm getting billed. I feel like I'm contributing to a community. There will be extra in the cookie jar next time I'm there. THAT's how it works!
