Oooh, I can't remember the last time a tailgate landed on my birthday! My niece is a freshman in the Hokie flag corps, and they are bringing their band, so I'm hoping I'll get to see her briefly before they have to muster to the stadium.
I'm sure that Duke isn't changing any rules this game, so for those needing drop off passes, remember, that means that you have to be on Blue Devil Alley before 9am.

Well, thanks to newcomer and soon to be Hurricane Nicole, Saturday could be a shit show. Of course it won't be a hurricane, but she could be hugging the coast as a tropical storm Saturday morning. Crossing fingers she speeds up.

Watching the storm track too. Not so worried about standing out in the rain, so much as driving from GA to NC along the path of the storm Friday night.

Very happily, it looks like it will be quickly out on her way north off the coast of Maryland at kickoff.

It's back to our only opponent being The Hokies. In fact, the whole day looks better than it did at the beginning of the week, with no rain at all!
