Kyrie and the Over Yonder

Kyrie is an idiot, and I'm shocked that the topic is verboten OY. Well, "shocked" is the wrong word, but it is kinda ridiculous that folks are not permitted to discuss a former Duke basketball player on a Duke basketball board. WTH?

Justifiably Egregious

Happy to discuss with you in detail at a tailgate, but, I 110% agree with you.

Some dumba$$ contrarian inevitably would try to rationalize Kyrie's behavior based on some article they read and how that is gospel. Then everyone would get pissed off.

I like having those threads so a) everyone has a chance to vent as the reaction should be pretty unanimous, and b) the true morons get a chance to out themselves.

I'm Jewish (not particularly observant, but it is a big part of my life), and within the past week my uncle got tickets for about six of us, including my modern orthodox cousins, to go to the Nets-Warriors game in Brooklyn December 21. The Nets have made a point of distancing themselves from this but I will have a hard time cheering for Kyrie.

Sadly, I probably won't be able to make it to another tailgate. This is when the busy time of year gets rolling for me.

What do you have to do? Make toys in your workshop for all the little boys and girls? =)) :9f:

Well, except for the beard, I certainly have the correct physique.

Color me confused by the immoderate moderator. On the actual topic, I'll simply repeat that, while I have my doubts, I remain hopeful that Kyrie uses this opportunity to actually learn something from this experience.

The fallout continues for Kyrie, as Nike has dropped him. Freedom of speech does not equal freedom from consequences.
