Two attendees will be devildeacs, Joy and Daryl, and we hope to arrive by 4 PM as we'll be driving down from NJ that morning/afternoon. We'll bring legal tender but won't have time to bake/prepare anything to contribute but will promise something for the 10/1 UVa game.

I don't have tickets, but lots are available on vividseats.com. If your party wants to avoid the service charge, there will most likely be more than the usual number of tickets for sale on game day for face value (maybe less). Technically, this is a sellout, but only because it is Employee Appreciation Day, so Duke has given away about 10,000 tickets (plus or minus). Many of those tickets will wind up in the informal resale market (ticket hawkers patrolling the grounds). That's just the nature of these promotions...

Thanks. I gave them one ticket and they were able to get a second. I hope people who got tickets for free and cannot use them are giving them away and not selling what they did not purchase.

Since we have an Italian menu teed up and in recognition of this being international Negroni Week (no fooling) I am planning to supply the drink table with the necessary spirits to whip up some classic negronis. See you all soon!
