Ooooh, a Spring tailgate!!!! With more than just football!!! Things will kick off on campus at 1:00 with WLAX and end with the Spring Game at 6.

Unfortunately, TNTdevil won't be there since his family is visiting more family for Easter, but I'll be there with the grill going all day.
I'm really hoping we have a sunny day, because I'm also planning on taking my camera over to Duke Gardens to gather some future paintings.
I don't think I'll have the TV out, but I will have a large monitor, so the events of the day such as the baseball game and LAX game will still be showing.

Since Duke is setting up the tents for free, we are not asking for any contributions beyond helping to cover food costs, so I'll have the tip jar out and please contribute as you see fit.

I'm keeping the menu simple that day, with the ability to feed throughout the afternoon. Costcos and ABTs will of course be on the menu, along with a nice quantity of BBQ and chicken.

Appetizers: ABTs, chicken wings
Main Course: Costco hot dogs, grilled chicken, ENC BBQ.
Sides: Beans, slaw

Blue Devil Alley,

Hope your new year is starting off well. Recently Duke Football released the 2022 schedule, and we are excited to be hosting our spring game on Saturday, April 16th at 6 pm. On the same day, we have Duke Baseball versus Notre Dame (at Jack Coombs Field) and Duke Women’s Lacrosse versus Boston College at home. As Blue Devil Alley members, we wanted to offer you this opportunity to come tailgate for all these events. This tailgate will be free of charge! Since there are multiple events on campus this day, the tailgate will be happening on Frank Bassett Dr. which is closer to all athletic venues (less than a 4 minute walk for each). Attached is a map and below is a schedule for Saturday April 16th.

Saturday, April 16th
12:00 pm Blue Devil Alley opens
1:00 pm Women’s Lacrosse versus Boston College
3:00 pm Baseball versus Notre Dame (@Jack Coombs field)
6:00 pm Football Spring game
9:00 pm Blue Devil Alley closes

Since TNT will be out of town, I'm bringing my "smaller" grill on my trailer so I can still load up tables. It got new wheels today!

Sadly Jenn and I can't make this one. We have family obligations Easter weekend. Have fun!

Joy and I will not be able to attend. She's bought tickets for a friend's Baroque string septet concert at 4 or 5 that day and we have an event that night. We will be tailgating this fall. This sounds like a fun afternoon/evening set of events. Y'all enjoy.

Zeke and myself cannot attend. Family vacation to Florida for Spring Break.

The lawgrads can't be there, either. I have a conference in Richmond all next week, and it being Easter week, the Reverend is up to his ears in schedule as well.

We made zero football games last year. I hope this will be a better fall for us all.

Sadly the cheer family will also be missing in action as we are dispersed to different out-of-town locations.

Cowboydevil and crew will be there. Still working on numbers.

Where is the festivities being set up?

Will we be able to drop off supplies?

Then that's barely a walk.
With WLAX and (lousy) baseball being played that day also at Koskinen and Coombs, the Bassett Dr setup makes sense.

The problem is that I can't read maps...was thinking Bassett was on the visitors side but it's on the home side. Agree it makes perfect sense to set it up that way.
