Will be keeping an eye on the remnants of Nicholas. They had tacked it go north, but of course changed it so it will possibly be heading east over NC after landfall in Texas/Louisiana.

Duke's wifi sucks big time, so the last game I used the hotspot feature that I pay extra for on my phone. That works great until I want to go in the game! That's one of the reasons that I stayed in the lot Friday night.
Long story short, I bought an external hot spot last year for camping, but haven't needed it since I got a newer phone with the HS built into it. Looks like it will have a purpose now. I've purchased 8GB worth of data which will get us through 2 games. (I didn't want to get more, because if it also sucks, and we wind up looking at other options, no sense in wasting $.)

So now I get to go in the Northwestern game, yay! For other games on this Saturday, we'll have an over the air antenna set up on our tv, and of course the Omegas next to us still have DirecTV. (Which crashed on them last week. I was giggling at the joys of technology while watching the game on our tv as they fumbled with a remote.)

Thankfully it's looking like Nick is being very slow and won't affect us this weekend. Sucks for the folks in the gulf though, they are going to get drenched for days.
Current forecast says highs in upper 80s with a chance of a thunderstorm. As long as that holds, will be leaving the tent at TNT's again.

Joy and I are still debating. We haven't received our tix yet and I'm on call, so if we attend, it'll be for a couple bottles of water and socializing but we may decide to eat at the tent, too, in which case, I'll post in the M&A thread.

You should call the ticket office. I had to provide them a shipping address due to them switching systems my address didn’t survive the transition.

My tickets are digital. Cheermom transferred them to my phone

Ahh, the switched systems and no tix for us now makes sense. We had planned on calling the ticket office yesterday but will do so today Thanks.

Doing some pre-TG cooking today. There are 15lbs of pork butt on one of my grills, getting a nice long smoke bath.

The ribs and chicken will be cooked onsite.
