The schedule is out today.
Sept. 4 -- at Charlotte
Sept. 11 -- N.C. A&T
Sept. 18 -- Northwestern
Sept. 25 -- Kansas
Oct. 2 -- at North Carolina
Oct. 9 -- Georgia Tech
Oct. 16 -- at Virginia
Oct. 30 -- at Wake Forest
Nov. 6 -- Pittsburgh
Nov. 13 -- at Virginia Tech
Nov. 18 -- Louisville
Nov. 27 -- Miami
That is daunting and if we get 6 wins it will be a minor miracle.
Sad side note, I won't be making the Miami game since we will be out of town for Thanksgiving.
Here is Steve Wiseman's look at the season.

It'll be divine intervention if we get 6 wins. I'll put the over/under on 3 and y'all can probably guess which 3.

I see 4 wins as the ceiling. It is gonna be a rough season. We lost a lot of defensive players.

From the Duke ticket office this morning.
Dear Duke Football Fan,
As we are sure that you have seen, the 2021 Duke Football schedule has been released. We are very excited about hosting 7 football games this season, including two Power 5 non-conference match-ups vs Northwestern and Kansas as well as local opponent North Carolina A&T.
With that excitement brings a new set of challenges while we are all still dealing with the realities of the Covid-19 pandemic and the unknowns of what it will look like in 8 months. While we are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to welcome fans back to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium in the Fall, we are delaying our traditional January/February sales launch while continuously working with Duke University and local health officials to monitor the virus in the upcoming months.
We will continue to communicate with you throughout the next few months but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Duke Athletics Ticket Office at 919-681-BLUE. For those fans who rolled your 2020 season tickets over to 2021, you do not need to do anything at this time.
I am guessing that they will sell tickets for the fall and we will have tailgates. Be sure to get vaccinated ASAP! My first shot is on Thursday!

Most season ticket holders should already have their tickets purchased as 2020 tickets roll over to 2021.

We took the refund option. So we'll have to pay for them anew.

We took the rollover option, kinda like the team did last year and what MBB is doing so far this season.

We rolled over too. Unlike the teams, though, we are not playing dead.

Spring dates are set, practice starts tomorrow.
Duke head coach David Cutcliffe announced Thursday the program's spring practice dates as well as the date for the annual Spring Showcase.
The Blue Devils will use the allotted 15 practice sessions allowed by the NCAA during the spring in preparation for the 2021 season. One of those practice sessions will be devoted to the team's annual Spring Showcase, which is set for Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m. Additional information on the Spring Showcase will be released at a later date.

Spring practice is when my optimism is sky high but not so much this year.

Gonna be a great year to tailgate! But I'm afraid that is the extent of my excitement.

Tim might be finding he has more company than usual under the tent while the game is going on.

I hope not Chris. The team will need all the support we can give them!

I won't be surprised if we are saying that during the season, too.

The Duke football team has paused in-person team activities indefinitely after identifying a cluster of COVID-19 cases within the program.
The Blue Devils started spring practice on February 26 and had conducted three official workouts prior to pausing. Per NCAA regulations, teams are permitted a total of 15 practices each spring.

Announcers brought up a legit point about the team not going back to Durham tonight. I'd be calling from the bus and telling people that they need about 20 beds set up in Cameron.
