Coach Lawson's first game is tomorrow at noon. No idea how many she'll get to be a part of this season, but at least the women are looking to start off in a more promising manner than the men. We're heading out to camp in Murrell's Inlet, so I can't watch, but the game will be on TV.
Here's the rest of the TV games this season. (Thankfully most are on ACCN, since for right now I can't watch any RSN games.)
Duke will be featured on the ACC Network a total of seven times, while RSN-TV will carry three contests and 13 games on ACC Network Extra.
The seven contests that ACC Network will carry will be Longwood (Nov. 25), NC State (Dec. 20 and Jan. 28), UNC Wilmington (Dec. 22), Louisville (Dec. 31), North Carolina (Jan. 17) and Notre Dame (Jan. 31).
Duke's contests against Louisville on Dec. 9, Miami on Dec. 13 and the regular season finale versus North Carolina in Cameron Indoor Stadium will be on RSN-TV.

Yeah, since Hulu dumped RSN, I'm pretty bummed about that last one.

After just 3:00, I'm impressed. Tough man-to-man, and excellent execution on offense.

I watched the first half and was equally impressed! Tough Dede and we were actually running an offense for the first time in what? 13 years? Good movement, good passing and after
The early nerves calmed down, good shooting! LGD GTHcGTH!

Since it was on ACCN, I'm looking forward to watching a replay when I get home. (I didn't DVR it, but should be able to watch replay.)
That first ACC game against Louisville, if we make it that far, will be telling to see how we look against a really good team. (Not optimistic that Fox Sports and Hulu work out an agreement by then.)

Duke plays its first ranked opponent tonight on ACCNX at 7, going against #5 Louisville. It's likely to be a blowout, but I'll be watching just to see how we perform against our first really good team.

If they play. Didn’t Louisville have problems with football and men’s bball? And reading K’s postgame comments, I think Duke will shut everything down soon. Very soon. The question is, before or after both of Saturday’s games?

I'd assume that both teams are already shooting around today on campus.
I do think things won't last, but tonight will happen, and it will be a good read for Kara on how her team is in the grand scheme.

Coach Kara's first year in Durham was a brief one. At least she did get to coach a few games, and ends it with a winning record. ;)
Nine days after Duke paused all hoops-related operations in its women's basketball program, the University announced that it will shut down for the remainder of the 2020-21 season. The decision is based off of heatlh and safety concerns stemming from COVID-19, as the original stoppage started with two positive tests on the Blue Devils' traveling party.
