A night game in Wallace Wade on Halloween. What could go wrong? Seems like something happened the last time we played Halloween night but I can’t remember...

Chase Brice fucking sucks. He's the Nathan Peterman of the ACC.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2020, 6:03 pmI just realized that I will probably not be able to watch Chase Brice suck against Charlotte since Hulu has killed off Fox Sports today.
I can listen, just can't watch his suckitude. (That would be a good game to let someone else step up and prove they don't suck.)
It all went downhill when OL Coach John Latina “retired.” Funny thing is Latina is currently Assistant Head Coach (Offense/Offensive Line) at Notre Dame. So much for retirement...
Wake has a strong running game but QB Sam Hartman is a bit erratic. In yesterday’s loss, VT QB Hendon Hooker did a great Chase Brice imitation throwing three interceptions.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 25th, 2020, 11:23 amWake beat VT last night. That is so aggravating to see teams that we should be comparable with doing so much better than us.
All to the same walk-on from Centreville, VA, a location that VT used to have locked down. Apparently they didn't even offer this kid a preferred walk-on. I suggested to my Wake buddies here that they better offer him a ride immediately, or VT would, since he is the best receiver Hooker would have.Bob Green wrote: ↑October 25th, 2020, 11:51 amWake has a strong running game but QB Sam Hartman is a bit erratic. That's absolutely disgusting. Does Brice's family have naked pics of Cutcliffe or something? The Duke Blue Devils have lost five of their last seven home games. Chase Brice is completing 54.9 percent of his passes for 1,461 yards, six touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Brice has thrown nine interceptions in his last four games.
Brave (better?) choice to hand out candy.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 1:41 pmHere's a bit of ugliness.

In contrast, Charlotte's QB completes only slightly more of his passes, but at least he doesn't make completions to the other team. (Only two INTs)
The line is currently Duke at -10.5. If I were a bettor, I'd be tempted to go for that pie.
I just realized I'll be handing candy during the game. I wonder who will be scarier, some of the costumes I see or Chase Brice?
Our neighborhood normally gets thousands of people showing up (literally), so while I have no idea what to expect this year, we are participating. We'll be masked up, on the one night that is really easy to do.fuse wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 1:58 pmBrave (better?) choice to hand out candy.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 1:41 pmHere's a bit of ugliness.

This will be the first year our house has ever been dark on Halloween. 2020
If you can borrow Brice to throw candy in the general direction of the children, this should work out for everybody.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 2:03 pmOur neighborhood normally gets thousands of people showing up (literally), so while I have no idea what to expect this year, we are participating. While it has been many years since I have seen it, and it may no longer be a thing, the midshipmen would march from the Academy to the football stadium and throw candy to kids watching the parade on the sidewalk.awhom111 wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 11:18 pmIf you can borrow Brice to throw candy in the general direction of the children, this should work out for everybody.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 2:03 pmOur neighborhood normally gets thousands of people showing up (literally), so while I have no idea what to expect this year, we are participating.
