Forum Changes and The Return Of Section 21. ChatBot Lives!

Obviously there have been a few. I don't know them all, so I'm with everyone else discovering them. One thing that I did though, is enabled a new chat room. Chatbot? As TNT says when a man goes down, "He's kilt!"

You will notice under the two forums, there is now a chat option! It works really, really well. No dice playing, no username changing, and you have to be logged in, but it works really well. If you click "mChat", it opens in the full screen. For whatever reason, when it is not maximized, your avatar shows up. When it is a full page, it doesn't. That is pretty much the only chat glitch I've seen so far.
Another feature of chat is that you can edit what you write. So if you type Duck is awesome, you can go change it to Duke. Unless you mean your duck, then power to you. Oh yeah, one last thing. ALL of the smilies are available in chat. :D

When I clicked on my stored link to Section 21, I went directly to Our House. At least it went somewhere friendly! :9f:

Why am I seeing only big blue question marks in place of icons for lawgrad, VDB, and Duke PA?
Love, Ima :-\

The mChat worked, but I didn't like the layout, and I hated that we couldn't see our avatars and smilies. So, I am bringing back ChatBot with a new installation of Ajax Chat. At the top, you will see "Chat Center". That's the new room.
I am trying to figure out how to make it scroll the way we are used to. (Bottom to top, not backasswards top to bottom.)

CHATBOT LIVES!!!!
I finally found a new version of Ajax Chat that works with the new boards. Sorry for bumping you off, CB, I missed you.

The new chat room is now the same as the old. http://crazietalk.net/chat

What's with this
All times are UTC-05:00
I've been trying to adjust my time to DST instead of posting time being an hour early, and I can't find the setting anymore, and I see the above. Are we all locked in now? I posted this at 9:26, not 8:26.

Not sure what happened to the DST setting. I'm checking, but it might no longer be an option. (Maybe the guy who wrote the program lives in Arizona and doesn't care. :-\ )
For my fix, I went with my suggested time of UTC 4:00. When DST changes again, I'll move it back to UTC 5:00. (This setting is under your user control panel, linkable at the top of the page next to the email and notification icons.)

Hi...the room is always open at crazietalk.net/chat
It will ask for a username and password, just type any name you want, and leave the password blank. We are in there every game. :happy-bouncyblue: :duke:

I am doing some big "house cleaning". Specifically, I removed "The Stadium" forum and merged all the posts into "Our House", so none were lost.
This way every topic we enjoy talking about and reading is under one roof.
