This game marks the halfway point of our home schedule and, it presents our #22 Duke Blue Devil Football team a significant chance to take control of the ACC Coastal Division.

I'm certain that the Hokies, and their fans, are gonna show-up for this game. I trust Cut will have the Devils ready as well. Only question mark is: will the Duke Fans turn-out?

Anyhoo, we're gonna do a tailgate worthy of this matchup. Let's get to the menu!

TBCC (+5):
Starters- Wings, ABTs, Costcos, Piquillo peppers stuffed with Salmon Tartar;
Main Course- Slow roasted, Maple smoked Prime Rib*, Grilled Jumbo Shrimps;
Sides- Mashed potatoes, Smoked Gouda & Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Green Beans and carrots;
Desserts- Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies, Dark Chocolate Cupcakes w/Espresso Buttercream frosting, Fudge Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Buttercream;
Dranks- Water, Vodka Sours.

*Okay, we're gonna do a USDA Prime ($$$) Prime Rib(s). However, I'm going to slice them into mega-steaks/mini-roasts. I'll then season 'em and let them Dry-age a wee bit. Come Saturday CB&B and I will proceed to use the "Reverse Sear" technique to prepare said beasts. This yields a vastly better, and more consistent flavor-profile to the beef. As they're ready, we'll then slice the steaks into more tailgate-friendly segments. Don't like it -- take it on the arches.

Murray, party of 4. Allen, Sam, Dan, and the always lovely Maureen. We will bring money and Sam will bring some sort of pre-meal hor dourve.

One (it's still the loneliest number). Joy will be in W-S at a family gathering. I'll bring traders, sharers, Hamilton and Lincoln, the currencies, not the play or the theatre.

Rodney and Beth McLain will be there. With money. Didn't get there for NC Central - too hard to do two weekends in a row - but will be there Saturday with bells on. (Do people still say that?)

Lawgrads, party of two. Representations of Founding Fathers/dead Presidents, Cokes, Sprites, maybe waters. The Rev. LG is scouring W-S for something cool from Wiseman Brewing, or maybe some more Clown Shoes Pecan, or whatever else strikes his fancy.

My girlfriend and I will be attending. We will bring $$ and local beer from Asheville. Also, if anyone is needing to get rid of an extra GA ticket, I could use an extra ;)
