Just saw on Twitter that we are getting a transfer from tOSU, Jack Wohlabaugh. Is a center and has 2 years of eligibility left.

We’ve had pretty good luck with tOSU transfers..... :9f:

Wohlabaugh will have to sit out the 2018 season due to transfer rules so he will be eligible to play in 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Of course it will change, so take it with a big grain of salt, but it's still fun to see Duke's 2019 class ranked 12th.

You can fill in the blanks with Zonovan Knight's decommitment.

Duke holds their camps in June which typically results in a few commitments. Running back is suddenly a priority. At least Knight changed his mind early so there is plenty of time to get a replacement.

Virginia Tech has made an offer to him. If he goes there, hopefully our D-linemen can knock him into the following week. :9f:

Unfortunately another player has decommited. WR Donovan Greene is reopening his recruitment. Greene is a potential star at a position of need so this sucks. These players are receiving a lot of attention from other schools because they are good. X(

What can will/will we do about this issue? I recognize it's a good problem to have, but if everyone poaches our recruits it's unsustainable.

Duke received verbal commitments from three defensive ends recently so it is time for me to update the running list:

1. Jacob Monk (OL)
2. Tony Davis (DB)
3. Jalen Alexander (DB)
4. Isiah Kemp (DB)
5. Eli Pancol (WR)
6. Jordan Waters (ATH)
7. R.J. Oben (DE)
8. Caleb Oppan (DE)
9. Sayyid Stevens (DE)

This class is leaning heavily defense so far; running back and quarterback are obvious needs toward balance. All nine current recruits are rated 3* by ESPN. 247Sports rates Tony Davis at 4*.

Three more recruits have verbally committed:

1. WR Darrell Harding 3* per ESPN and 247 Sports. Lots of P5 offers including West Virginia, Mississippi State, Missouri, UNC, Wake Forest, Indiana, Minnesota, Maryland and Kentucky. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/foot ... ll-harding
2. Punter Porter Wilson
3. TE Matthew Smith not rated. I assume he camped at Duke and the coaches saw something they liked. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/foot ... thew-smith

RB Jaylen Coleman has verbally committed. He is from Porter Ridge High School in Indian Trail, NC. He has nice size at 6'1" 200 and speed. I couldn't find a 40 yard dash time on him but he is the 2018 North Carolina 4A 100 meter dash champion.

Offer sheet is limited (Army, Charlotte, Yale, Princeton) but obviously the coaches saw something they like.
