Wow....one week to go!!!! I've been crazy busy all week getting ready for my artist opening at the gallery, and TNT has been dropping Freshman Piper Townsend off at the University of Vermont, so neither of us has had much time to think beyond those activities...but that doesn't mean we aren't stoked for a great season that starts in 7 days!!!
We'll be getting the M&A up as soon as we have recovered from the weekend, but in the mean time, discuss anything else under the sun. (Full sun..eclipse is over.)
Side note for the beer folks...I have a contribution I'm bringing that I picked up during said eclipse. It's an "ale aged in rye whiskey barrels", dated 2015 from a Mo brewer. 12%ABV, will elaborate more once I get back home to read the label.

Happily that system will be out of here by Tuesday night, although unhappily it looks like I am due for a wet Tuesday morning. Rather be wet now than on the weekend.

GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE!!!!!!!! Weather until this morning WAS looking like a beautiful 80 degrees. Now, that might be changing.
"That system has now moved well away from us," said WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner. "Today we'll stay dry, but for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, it looks like it's going to be fairly wet."

After Matthew, we are experts in serving food during a deluge of biblical proportions, but I'd rather not prove it again quite so soon.

Now according to the "evil" WRAL weather forecast, the bulk of the rain is now supposed to fall tomorrow (Friday) and then Saturday should be quite pleasant.
According to the "good" WRAL weather forecast, the forecast for Saturday remains very nice and only a chance of "scattered thunderstorms" on Friday.
If anyone has a Ouija board, you too can be a weather forecaster.

Duke unfortunately is following the "Bad" WRAL forecast, and emailed that they won't be setting up tents until noon. Ours on the hill though, will be set up long before since we'll be out there smoking piggy.
