Mom is holding up well although it is so sad. We're glad Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Shirley are no longer suffering and hopeful for a peaceful period for our family. We'll be in Richmond for his funeral this weekend and to support Mom, Karen and the grand kids. Thanks for being our extended family.

Donna and Nancy, I am so sorry that your loved ones have suffered so much recently. I imagine that Shirley is standing at heaven's door, welcoming Jimmy, and that both of them are free of pain.

Thank you all. It has been hard, losing both of them, 9 days apart. I'm not surprised to loose them so close together but it is difficult.

Having been out of touch for a while, I'm late to hear the bittersweet news. It's been a terrible ordeal for your whole family, hasn't it. You can rest assured of one thing, though. You have done a yeoman's job of caring for everybody. You left no stone unturned and you've done it with grace.
