Good luck, huge shoes to fill.
Replacing the retired Bob Harris, David Shumate will become the new play-by-play voice of Duke football and basketball games.

Mr. Shumate is going to need a big microphone, too.

Good luck!

Congratulations to Dave Harding on his promotion to the booth. It is well deserved.

The only thing bad about Harding getting this job is that he doesn't have the face for radio. That enthusiastic grin was meant for TV! Still, I"ll take it. Congrats, Dave.

While I hope Dave stays with Duke for years, this is a great setup for him to get on the job training for bigger things down the road. I can easily see him moving on to calling games for one of the networks.

Yea, maybe he can take over for that sanctimonious prick, Jay Bil-ass. Soon.
