Good news! Now sending healing vibes!

The pain sucks, but the worst is my mouth. Since I have apnea, they intubated me during the procedure as a precaution. Now my mouth's all beat up and my throat hurts. Worse than that, though, is I have to sleep on my back (I'm normally a stomach or side sleeper). This causes my mouth to hang open when I fall asleep, so I wake up every hour or so with a tongue like sand paper (literally... I touched it) and a throat like the mojave desert. So, I drink water. But then I have to pee. Getting up to pee every couple hours sucks when your stomach feels like Mike Tyson worked it over for a few hours. Is there anything out there that can keep my mouth wet without me having to drink and that's more effective than just water? I seem to recall they used to have these swabs, but I'm not sure if they're more effective than just drinking water.
