Carolina Defensive Coordinator Gene Chizik has resigned to spend more time with his family who remained in Alabama the past two years he has coached in Chapel Hill:

I'm hoping the real reason is he realized his 2017 defense was going to suck more than his 2016 defense. :9f:

Second reason I hope for: He read the new and improved ANOA and believes the cheaters are in deep, deep shit.

Virginia Tech receivers article:

With more than half of Tech’s scholarship receivers (five of eight) participating in spring practices represented by guys who have either never played in a college game or concentrated almost exclusively on special teams work in games last season, Phillips has plenty of chances to play the sage role.

Article up on WRAL.com featuring LB GIles-Harris, and his eagerness for the team to get back to a bowl game.
"The only number that stood out to me was, I started every game," Giles-Harris said. "That was the most exciting part. Tackles and tackles for a loss, that really didn't matter to me. I mean, at the end of the day, we won four games. I wasn't really proud of it, but I was proud that I was able to play in all 12 games and that was an exciting thing for me, being my first season, I kind of shocked myself at that one."
