Grayson won't be posting in the "Good Morning" thread

Post by CameronBornAndBred » December 22nd, 2016, 9:45 am

Coach Mike Krzyzewski announced the suspension Thursday, saying in a brief statement that the program "needed to take further steps regarding his actions" because they "do not meet the standards of Duke basketball."

This is a good move. If K hadn't suspended him, the ACC would have. Of course, with Coach, it may last longer.

Timing is everything. Dang it, if Grayson hadn't grabbed all the headlines there would have been a bit more press on the new NOA for the cheats. Now they're flying under the radar again.

I am 100 percent confident Coach K's priority right now is making sure Grayson Allen is okay. The suspension is step one in ensuring Allen receives the help he needs.

Maybe the thread title is exactly the issue...

Amen. I do agree with what was posted OY: Grayson's actions are receiving far more press than those of other players who have done similar or worse. With that being said, I am guessing this is more about making sure Grayson is okay. And I would also guess that Coach K has the full support of Grayson's parents!

He might post in the Good Night thread, since he is starting against GT.
