It's hot, so the menu travels south...to Mexico!
As of post time the weather for game day appears to be hot. Humidity unknown, so that means plan accordingly- Sunscreen, hats, extra NA beverages. As CB&B stated over in SD thread, we've got access to a 3C/B tent too. Might be nice if the folks with DO passes could coordinate to shuttle in cargo, etc. for those who don't have parking access nearby.
For this tailgate we’re gonna’ try to serve the main courses around 1:00-1:30pm or, just as soon as the Devil Walk concludes. Of course, they'll be stuff to eat from around mid-morning forward, as you can see below, so come early and stay late-- we do!
As always I'll keep updating this post with more weather and attendance information as we move through the week!
Lastly, don't ignore the (improperly named) Tip Jar! Last week was a really, really disappointing result.
Please remember that this money is used to cover our expenses and, hopefully, fund the next games menu. If the funds aren't forthcoming, then we've got no other choice but to make cuts in our food, and time, budgets. If last week is a measure of what's to come, we'll be eating bread and water for the UVA Homecoming game.
