Nice, I've noticed that we've been absent in the QB recruiting department. Will be fun to watch him this year since he is playing so close by.

Nope. RB Deon Jackson is the noise source. The Devils Den has a Jackson article up today, but it is premium content so I can't read it. Folks still expect Jackson to announce for Duke soon.

His HS plays at our HS (Millbrook) on Friday 10/21 at 700. It's 2 miles from our house. Any interested persons are welcomed to contact me and make dining/drinking/viewing arrangements (hopefully all 3).

Today is Junior Day at Duke. Lots of recruits coming for a visit. Perhaps we will see a commit or two over the coming days so I'll be paying attention on Twitter.

Duke appears to be in good shape with DE Chris Collins (6'5" 215) and OLB Wendell Davis (6'2" 215) both from Benedictine in Richmond. This is same high school as Scott Bracey (and Silent G). Collins is a 3* on Scout.

Another name being dropped over on Scout message board is 4* DL Tahj Rice (6' 3.5" 287):

3* wide receiver Jake Bobo from Belmont, MA has verbally committed to Duke per Twitter.

3* OL Casey Holman has verbally committed to Duke. His offer list is impressive: Auburn, Florida, Miss St, Iowa State, Louisville, Miami, VT, UNC, NCSU, WF and more. He is from Snellville, GA.

Looks like the only NC school that didn't offer him was Wake. Good to see Cut's strong recruiting continue to reap rewards.

An announcement is expected soon from WR Kevin Austin, Jr. Duke is in the running along with Tennessee, Notre Dame and Miami. Austin is ranked 87 on the ESPN300 list.
