I hate to say it, but Stanford has to be thinking of making a change after the season is over.

Johnny will land on his feet somewhere.

Yup, losing season in the conference, another absence from the NCAA; he's gone. I was surprised they kept him for this season. Bob's right, he'll be somewhere. (I'm pretty sure it won't be HC at Duke. Ever.)

They did get a nice win over Oregon today.

That will look good on his resume. ;)

But probably not good enough to offset what happened today. He should land on his feet somewhere.

Shocking!

Wonder if he lands in Cameron again, I won't mind seeing his recruiting skills coming back to Durham. Capel would have to get a job offer somewhere for it to happen, of course.

I wouldn't be surprised to see JD offered another head coach position this off season. He might have to step down a notch to a mid-major but as I said up thread, he will land on his feet somewhere. Lots of jobs will be coming open.

Well he certainly won't be getting any offers that are a step up. ;)

I would love to see JD at a mid-major, or even a lower school. I'm assuming he's made a ton of money and hopefully has it in the bank, so a pay cut should not be an issue as much as getting another chance to show that he can be successful.

Johnny Dawkins to the University of Central Florida. That didn't take long.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he does with recruiting back on the east coast.

Of concern to me(grad school), Pitt has hired Vandy's Kevin Stallings.

Lots of movement but ultimately no impacts to Duke that I'm aware of.
