We were there. The atmosphere was scintillating. The Duke crowd -- especially the students and band -- showed how creative, fun, and engaged it could be when not pre-programmed and overshadowed by the canned stuff they have to work around in Cameron and WW. The support was organic, impromptu, on point and LOUD! So proud of everybody today.
We felt during the whole contest that sooner or later somebody would simply blink and that would be the whole enchilada. Unfortunately, our gals were the ones who blinked; and if only for a second that's all it took. They left it all out there.
It was a terrific year and a proud and beautiful day to be a Duke fan.
Love, Ima
