Over/under is set at 47.5 points. This is a tough one to predict because I do not believe Army will score many points on our defense. If one takes the over, they are saying Duke is going to score 40+ points on the Cadets. As a Navy man, I say the more the merrier...let's run it up!

Army is not NCCU so I'd take the under. Thinking maybe 28-7, Duke.

Heading into this Saturday I feel very confident about our team. Our defense is by far the best defense that we have had under Coach Cut. The offense is still making progress, but I believe we will see the offense put up some big numbers in the next few weeks. Northwestern and Boston College have two of the better defenses in the entire country, and it was no surprise that we were not able to score against those units. This game against an overmatched Army team should be a breakout game for Sirk and the rest of the offense.

Similar to Boston College, I find it hard to imagine Army putting up many points at all. Our defense shut down Georgia Tech, who runs the same offense as Army with 10x better athletes. If we can establish a running game early, look for Sirk to find Rahming/Barnes/McCaffrey for some big plays down the field. Let's take care of business and head into our bye week with some confidence and no major injuries!

Nice post!

I second your comments on confidence and no major injuries! Beat Army and we finish the first half of the season at 5-1, which is right where we need to be. The coaching staff will use the bye week to tweak and adjust to ensure the team is firing on all cylinders for the second half of the season.
