Guess what? Another week, another tailgate! (And hopefully another ACC victory!) We'll be posting the M&A this evening, but might as well get to looking forward to another great day, rain or shine. (Last Saturday proved that rain will not put a damper on an amazing tailgate experience, it was tons of fun, as always.)

I will do my best to come. The weather is not looking good. We're at the lake and I will probably be coming from here, which is no big deal.

Tropical Roulette being played by the ticket office.

Play Tropical Roulette For Duke Ticket Discounts

Tropical Storm Joaquin may or may not land over Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium on 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, but that is not going to stop Duke fans from having some fun the next three days. Introducing Tropical Roulette, where the forecast will determine your general admission ticket price for Duke Football vs. Boston College.

Fans can decide to purchase tickets at that discount or wait and see what the next discount is. But play smart, once the new discount is posted the old one is gone. It may go up, it may go down, only the weather man can make that call.

How It Works:

Promotion starts at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday 9/30 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on 10/2
For the 3 days leading up to the game, the chance of rain percentage forecasted for kick-off on Saturday will determine the discount on general admission tickets (Regular Value = $25)
Forecast will be checked and discount will be posted on GoDuke.com/tropical and on Duke social media channels at 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day
All sales end at 5:00 p.m. each day
All sales must be done over the phone (919) 681-2583 or at the Duke Athletics Box Office in Cameron Indoor Stadium
Forecast/discount will be based on official Duke Athletics weather model
All sales are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for a future discount
The Discounts:

90% - 100% Chance of Rain = 50% Discount ($12.50 ticket)
70% - 89% Chance of Rain = 40% Discount ($15 ticket)
50% - 69% Chance of Rain = 30% Discount ($17.50 ticket)
30% - 49% Chance of Rain = 20% Discount ($20 ticket)
<30% Chance of Rain - 10% Discount ($22.50 Ticket)
Discount History:

9/30 8:30 a.m. - 12:59 p.m. - _% Chance of Rain
9/30 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - _% Chance of Rain
10/1 8:30 a.m. - 12:59 p.m. - _% Chance of Rain
10/1 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - _% Chance of Rain
10/2 8:30 a.m. - 12:59 p.m. -_% Chance of Rain
10/2 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. -_% Chance of Rain

The attendance of any members of the Murray family for the game Saturday is doubtful. NOT because of the weather, but because of the pending arrival of Murray grandbaby #3 (Titus Steven) who we anticipate sometime tomorrow.

The weather map looks okay this morning. Most of the rain is West and South of Durham with the front moving to the Northwest:

I'll be headed out the door and North Carolina bound in a few minutes.

Hoping for the rain to stop for everyone this afternoon. Work obligations are keeping me away today but I know that the team will beat BC. See everyone on the 31st. AW. :ymhug: :D

Thanks, all, for letting FutureDA and me crash at your tent for a bit - she loved your potato chips, even if she did otherwise try to hide behind my legs the whole time. Great to see so many of you, and put some more faces to names. Sorry to miss BD and Allenmurray, but after wandering around campus since noon, it was time to let the little one rest her legs so we left the tailgate area early; bonus, she really loved the pre-game marching band performance. :happy-bouncyblue:

Thanks to Tim and Chris for another great tailgate feast. I loaded up on chicken salad and baked beans plus a Costco dog, ABT, sausage balls and chicken wings! I even had a taste of cheese cake after the game. My wife really likes the green salad Penny prepared. My dad and nephew Mark asked me to pass on thanks to everyone for the hospitality. Zeke says, "Whatever, dude."

A great meal with fantastic camaraderie topped off with a win over BC! Good times.
