Freaking NC mental health system

So, I have not received a full check or been paid on time since November of 2013. The MCO in this article, Eastpointe, is supposed to disburse payment for services rendered each week. Well, the agency I contract with got one puny disbursement last week after a month of NO money because the creeps at Eastpointe are using a new software program and are having problems implementing it.
I am so fucking sick of these private, corporate assholes stealing money from our fragile mental health system. We work hard to care for the sickest and poorest people and are frequently denied payment for services based on unpredictable technicalities we don't know we're subject to. To add insult to injury, Eastpointe will investigate us for frivolous complaints. I wrote the wrong name on a prescription once and immediately corrected my error. The patient complained to the MCO who opened an investigation. What a waste of time and resources, but I suppose they have to justify their salaries when they're not blatantly embezzling although they know the complaints will not be substantiated. Fucker heads.
