Nailed down the new Wally Wade seats and parking today. How will they EVER get that place done in time for the season?! Exciting though!

While stopping in the ID office we peeked into Cameron to see the preparations for the BBall banquet. WOW! It's gonna be a reeeeeeely big show! They are transforming the place big time!

NExt up, Banquet next week!

When I was at Duke on Sunday for the lacrosse game, I didn't notice any major construction going on in the 751 parking lot. Anyone know what the current plans are? 751 Lot construction would effect my normal Chemistry Lot parking option.

Sadly no. We don't even get it here in the Triangle. The only hope is that GoDuke.com or DBR will come through with a vid!

Dear Iron Dukes member,

We are looking forward to the 2015 Duke Football season and to another fall cheering on our Blue Devils with you! Progress is well underway in Wallace Wade, and we hope you are as excited as we are about the future of Duke Football and Wallace Wade Stadium. This email serves to provide you with further information on the ordering process for season parking passes for the upcoming season.

This season, due to construction on the west gate of Wallace Wade, we will be losing the Bassett Drive Disability Lot as an Iron Dukes season parking lot. We will also be losing the vast majority of the 751 lot due to the construction of a parking garage. We will maintain parking in the Whitford Drive Lot, the Card Gym Lot, the Grounds Lot, B-3, B-5, and B-7. We will also be adding the Chemistry Lot as a new Iron Dukes parking lot for game days. Iron Dukes disability parking will be available in the Whitford Drive Lot and in B-4.

We will again be charging $50 per season parking pass. Beginning the week of April 20th, the parking pass selection process will start for Iron Duke members in priority order. All Iron Duke members who are up-to-date with their membership, and have purchased 2015 season football tickets, will receive instructions when it is their time to order and select their parking location via email.

At this point all that is necessary to prepare for this process is to renew your 2015 season football tickets by April 15 and make sure your Iron Dukes membership is up to date. An email will be sent to you in late April when it is your turn, in Iron Dukes priority, to order your parking pass. You will need your Iron Dukes login and password in order to purchase your pass online, so please be sure you have that information.

Thank you for all that you do for the exceptional student-athletes here at Duke. We look forward to seeing you this fall to cheer on the Blue Devils in Wallace Wade, and appreciate your patience as we work towards a better game day experience for all of our Iron Duke members.

Bob, the official notice is posted above and the Chem Lot will become Iron Duke parking. I'm very afraid I'm going to lose my Card Gym Lot pass, which I've had for years, long before we started tailgating in Blue Devil Alley there. The pass we get for the tent will still have go to Tim. But I may have to take first dibs on a drop off pass.

Thanks for the information. It looks like I'll be parking in the Small or Large Circuit Lot this coming season. As early as I get there, it will not be a problem driving by and dropping off the family at Tailgate prior to parking.

A nice parking deck facility near Wallace Wade and Cameron would greatly be appreciated and needed for along time.
