Get in the car and drive to Indy on Monday!!!! And get a Duke fan to pick you up good Lower Seats Today (Sunday). The tickets will be for sale on the Streets in Downtown Indy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cash onlyLavabe wrote:This is so cool, and now I am left thinking the following:
We live in Lexington, and UK is NOT playing in the championship game, and Indy is 2 1/2 - 3 hrs away by car.

So here's the deal. UK fans drove UP the average resale price on tickets for the three-game set to a whopping $1890 (according to www.kentucky.com). When we looked on a few resale sites, UK fans are trying to sell the championship game tickets for $300-$800 per ticket. Also according to the article, Kentucky residents bought 31 percent of all of the Final Four tickets this year. That's nearly a third of the stadium in UK colors, and another 15% or so were from Michigan; note that 14% were bought from Wisconsin, and 5% were from North Carolina. Methinks the NCAA is going to see a lot of empty seats on Monday.lawgrad91 wrote:And lots of pitiful uk people have tickets to sell....Lavabe wrote:This is so cool, and now I am left thinking the following:

Did you look at the NCAA clearinghouse site? They had reasonable prices for the games in Houston. Hopefully you'll be able to find something.Lavabe wrote:So here's the deal. Yeah, that's what I think, too. Wisconsin worries me more than Kentucky did. We will need our best game. with that being said, I'm very optimistic.Bob Green wrote:There is no quit in the Badgers. Duke is going to have to play a full 40 minutes.
Thank you for the lead, but $202.50 for the lowest priced seat doesn't thrill me.ArkieDukie wrote: Did you look at the NCAA clearinghouse site? They had reasonable prices for the games in Houston. Hopefully you'll be able to find something.
What is face value on them? If I leave now, I could be there in time for the game.Lavabe wrote:Thank you for the lead, but $202.50 for the lowest priced seat doesn't thrill me.ArkieDukie wrote: Did you look at the NCAA clearinghouse site? Not sure about that. $202 is a bit too high for our budget, Having said that, ILJ just reported to me that she was reading an article in which tickets were being sold and traded at the stadium as soon as the UK game was over. My gut sense is that if you know of someone at the game, that person could probably get the ticket at a MUCH lower price.YmoBeThere wrote:What is face value on them?
