Anyone know where online I can actually find the infamous video???

(Not the viruses, spam, etc.)

For research purposes - some people think it was staged and that she was posing. I need to resolve this once and for all!

I think it's been pulled from the internet. Poor, Shamm.

Hey, how come you didn't call the Beach Babes back?

Okay... this is one of those news stories that I have been unable to figure out while abroad. Will someone provide a two sentence description of what this media circus is all about?
Thanks,
Lavabe

Someone took a video or pictures of Erin Andrews, ESPN Reporter and from Florida cheerleader, while she was changing. The video pictures have appeared on the internet. ESPN was ticked that they appeared on a New York newspapers web site, and have decided not to have any more of said newspapers reporters on ESPN. Can't remember which NY rag, might have been the post.

And, a certain unnamed moderator from another distantly related message board is still at-large and apparently has not been charged...  :)) =))

(hint: cough, cough)

She was in her hotel room at the time, and the videos/pictures are clearly taken w/o her consent through either (or both) the peephole in the door or a hole drilled into a wall or picture. It happened in more than one hotel, so last I heard, police were looking at coworkers who may have been traveling with her.

Sue is right, and so are you, Tilly...it was the NY Post, who has subsequently tried to reassign blame to ESPN itself basically for "making a stink" about the situation.
The whole thing is abominable.

He lives with his mom. Specifically, in her basement.

If he saw Erin Andrews naked, he would drop dead.

OH - TILLY - didn't call back because was with family camping in our new (used) RV. Travel trailer. Didn't get message until the next morning... I am sorry! :(

I have reached a point in my life, finally, where this kind of stuff has lost interest for me, so I don't personally go to this site anymore. However, if anybody has it, the drunken stepfather will. He is the king of this stuff. You'll probably have to hit the "older entries" button at the bottom several times as it's older, and he usually doesn't use names in the video link part unless it's someone insanely famous like paris hilton or lohan or somebody, so I'd search each page for something involving "peep" if I had to guess. If you find a page with something about Erin Andrews, you'll have to search in the links at the bottom to actually find it, and it probably won't have her name. It'll have something crass about peeping toms being awesome or something. If he's got it, it's probably the real version, as he "researches" these things to death.

They discussed this ad nauseum on the radio the other week, and from what I heard, it was far more than changing clothes. She goes through her entire morning ritual nude... curling her hair, doing her makeup, stretching, everything. And from what they were saying on the radio, it looks like it is coming through the peephole of the hotel door, not something drilled into the wall.

Oh, and his entire site is NSFW!!!

What is his site?

(For research purposes, of course.)

Check your PMs. It's pretty easy to find, though.

I WILL expect you to post the findings of your research, though. After all, you said this was purely to satisfy your academic curiosity, right? ;)

Correct, sir. My motives are solely related to both the letter spirit of intellectual inquiry.

I am confident that the rest of the site will also help quench my thirst for lifelong learning and personal development! :-B

I just want to know your opinion about whether it was staged for PR or if she really is an innocent victim in this.

You have to remember that I have NOT watched it. My initial response was that absolutely, she's an innocent victim and the animal that did this should be hunted down and dealt with. However, after they've talked about it ad nauseum on radio, on the internet, etc., against my better judgment, I'm starting to wonder. She wouldn't be the first person to try something like this, then feign indignance when she found out that her bosses were outraged by it. I'm still like 90/10 that she's the innocent victim and this guy should be hunted down and dealt with. Maybe you could make him disappear, Sue. I just wanted Shammrog's opinion on the matter, that's all.

Let me put it this way. If it was me in her position (and we won't even discuss what would happen to the "videographer"), and someone inferred/alluded to/mentioned/questioned whether I was a part of it, there would be more than a disappearance. I find, as a woman, that line of thinking to be disgusting. Really? We're going to ask to be party to a violation like that?

I'm honestly shocked, stunned, & infuriated as this is the first I've even heard this mentioned. She doesn't even get the benefit of the doubt?

If it comes out I'm wrong, then I'll apologize. Otherwise I find this line of thinking disgusting.

I haven't followed the story at all as I think it came out when I was on a Mission trip w/o news but I do know that there has been speculation that it was staged. I go with the theory that there is a pervert out there to be caught and will apologize to all perverts if it turns out it was staged. (Given that I have a female relative employed by ESPN, I hope it isn't a co-worker of Erin Andrews.)

Then allow me to step back from this. I will reserve judgement, however I had not heard at all that it was staged. I still think she should get the benefit of the doubt, innocent until proven guilty, etc.
