Additional hugs going out. I well know that the loss of good dog stays with you. I was down at one of agility trail sites yesterday helping out with my clubs trial. It was the first time I had been there since I lost Dylan. Kleenex were required.

I can say that having a Tyler has been healing. I hope you will consider opening your heart to another dog. Nothing replaces the one you lost, but it certainly helps heel a broken heart.

We still have Sarah and her lab, Murphy, with us. So we aren't facing "empty nest syndrome" ...... yet. We can't believe Lucky outlasted Murphy, who has so many tumors all over him he looks like a lumpy bag of laundry. He was given only a couple of months well over a year ago and before Lucky was even diagnosed.

Those sudden moments that overwhelm you with memories come out of the blue, don't they. We take everything as it comes and soak it up. We banked those memories for later so we don't run from them now. They are treasures -- Kleenex and all.

Meanwhile, we love being included in all your adventures! Keep the coverage coming! And congrats!

It is the out of the blue ones that get you. A month or so ago I opened the door and called Wizard and Dylan in. I called three times before I realized what I was doing. Ouch.

Tyler has a new adventure coming this weekend....he'll be representing the Central Florida Hunting Retriever Club at the Bass Pro Shops Dog Days - doing demo's and meeting and greeting.
