Endeavor is scheduled to land at Cape Canaveral Friday morning at 10:48 a.m., just about the time we would be driving past on I-95. As long as it isn't delayed, we'll make this happen. We've seen a shuttle launch back in 1994 when daughter was at Space Camp, so his will sort of bring it full circle. Hope it happens! We're excited! :D :D :D :D :D :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Very cool! When I was in the Navy's basic electronics school in Orlando during the early 80s, we were able to see the vapor stream (?) from shuttle take offs.

Vibing for good weather, those NASA guys are picky. If a bug farts, it's too windy.

There is a chance of showers Friday morning. Hot holding my breath yet that it will work out for us - better it work out for the astronauts.

We left Pompano Beach about 8:15, about 30 minutes too late to get to (even with) KSC. We stopped about 25 miles south at a rest stop about 5 minutes before touchdown, hoping to see something in the break in the clouds to the north and west, but no dice :( Talking so someone who also was "looking up", she said her husband in Palm Beach called her and said the sonic boom shook their house - I figured the shuttle would be coming in from the west, not the south, so we may have been looking the wrong way :( :(, although there were clouds over head anyway.
