Anyone planning on chatting tonight? I missed chat during the Virginia game because the wife was using the laptop and the grandson had the Ipad.
Bob's Official Prediction: Seattle by more than a field goal but less than a touchdown.

Not chatting as I'll have several people over. However, I'm going Pats by 4 or more.

I'll be in and out of 21. No big party here, but I am making us chicken nachos for dinner. I've had some pork on the grill since 10:30 this morning, getting ready for a fundraiser dinner on Friday. Manning the grill is always a good way to spend on game day!

We are partying with the same people we have for the last 3 Super Bowls. But I may pop in and say hi.

In the end, I watched the last 2 minutes of the game and tried to buck up my youngest who was in tears after the incredible catch. Until, of course, the Patriots did it for me.

And the winners in the car category (for me) are:
1) Kia: Pierce Brosnan
2) BMW: Couric & Gumbell
3) Jeep: This land was made for you and me.

Winner in the Half-assed ad category:
1) Go Daddy: you could really tell that they took all of a day to come up with a replacement ad for the horrid puppy commercial they initially created.
2) Loctite glue: WTF?
3) Budweiser: Not the puppy commercial, but the commercial in which they slam the Ymm Beer thread.

Agreed the loctite ad was odd, I guess that is what they were going for. Missed the slamming of Ymmm Beer.

It basically slams craft beer (While those folks sip Pumpkin Peach Ale,...). That's their marketing campaign.

Top 3 Movies that I really don't think I'll go see now that I've seen their Super Bowl ads:
1) Jurassic World
2) Terminator Genesis (or was it Exodus?)
3) 50 shades of grey
NOTE: The Ted 2 commercial featured Tom Brady, but otherwise, I wasn't going to see that one anyway.

I liked the loctite ad. It was creative, different and certainly not expected (product wise) in the Super Bowl lineup. I thnk I'll go buy a tube, just to have around the house!

It's second and goal at the one, and you have Marshawn Lynch. You need a touchdown. You don't have to worry about timeouts. You have 26 seconds left in the game. What do you do? What do you do?
A) Run
B) Run
C) Run
D) pass
Moral of the story: if you coach the NY Jets, eventually things catch up with you.

Honorable mentions: Liam Neeson for a video game. LIE-umm? LIE-umm?
Bryan Cranston/Breaking Bad/Pharmacist: esurance

They should have killed off Lindsay instead of that kid. (And Lindsay was esurance, dead kid was Nationwide.)
