Check it out! Jeremy Cash is one of 20 players highlighted as important play makers who decided to stay in college rather than go to the NFL.

I'm excited about our defense in 2015 as we will have multiple experienced players such as Cash, Kelby Brown, Carlos Wray, DeVon Edwards to lead the way. Hopefully some of the youngsters will be ready to produce especially on the defensive line (Cerenord, Shabazz, Ferguson).

He's scored so many points that I forget that Mr. November plays defense. Nice complement to Cash; the writer doesn't stop at saying simply ready for the NFL, he states Pro Bowl. :D (At least he says he has the size of a pro bowl guy.)

Coach Cut noted in his press conference this morning that Jeremy Cash underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this morning and will be out for most of spring practice. He noted that this surgery was not a very intense surgery and the recovery time seems to be only 2-4 weeks.

This is not bad news at all. The last thing we want is someone like Jeremy getting a serious injury in spring practice. As long as guys like Cash, Brown, and Deaver are good to go by Fall practice, we should be fine.

Thanks for the update. I got a message on my phone that said he was "out indefinitely" with knee surgery, which has a whole different connotation than "arthroscopic surgery." I would rather him have things taken care of now, rather than closer to the season, or in the season. :duke:

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for Jeremy.

Moreover, Cash's back-up will now get all the spring practice 1st Team snaps gaining invaluable experience. All Allen Iverson jokes aside, Jeremy Cash does not need to practice. I'd say there are several more proven starters who should see limited action in the spring starting with Lucas Patrick.

Most likely Dr. Moorman, head of sports medicine, performed the procedure. It's one of his specialties. This is a good time to get something like this taken care of. ;;)

Cogratulations, Mr. Cash!

I sincerely hope he joins Crowder in the pros. He's just the kind of player we need at ILB or safety.
