ESPN scoreboard now reflects a 7 pm kick-off for next Saturday evening. Coach Cutcliffe and Scottie Montgomery need to figure out and fix whatever is wrong with our offense in a hurry. This is Wake's bowl game! Go Duke!! A 9-3 regular season is within our grasp.

Duke opens as an 18 points favorite in Vegas. That line is stunning.

Based on the various geek polls, that's about right, I guess. However, they weren't in the stands the last two games to witness the stinkers we laid down against the turkeys and the cheaters
.

WFU played VT to a scoreless tie in regulation this past weekend. What a snoozer that must have been.

A solid performance overall with the exception of the pass rush. We just cannot generate any pressure on the opponent's quarterback except when we blitz and it isn't a sure thing when we blitz. Wake's true freshman had all night to throw the ball.

Man was it fun to watch a game like that last night?! I loved to the onside kick decision and I thought the team played very well offensively for most of the game. To score 41 points on a solid Wake Forest defense was impressive. I thought the team looked a little carefree once they got the 24-7 lead. Very happy for the seniors and the entire team to finish the regular season on a good note.
This bowl game will be important for the program. One of the only things Cut has not done yet here at Duke is win a bowl game. After the two losses late in the season, we should be playing someone in December that we will have a good shot at beating. It would be great for the 2015 team if we can get a win and have some momentum going into the spring.
