Scottish Independence - Colchar?

I'm curious as to how Colchar feels about the Scottish Independence vote tomorrow. I'm late to the game and only know some things about the issue.
Does he still post here? If so, please, I'd love to hear which way you would vote and why. Can you vote?

I, too, would like to hear an opinion from somebody with a dog in the fight. The closest we come to it around here is that we have a Gaelic last name.
I'm no expert, but I can't for the life of me see anything much on the plus side for either country if they split. Looks to me like they may be opening a Pandora's Box. Show me how it's broke, or don't fix it.
Love, Ima
PS Are we getting anywhere close to breaking the forum rule here about not getting political? Don't want to go that direction.

We'd be getting political if we are talking about TEXAS leaving the union ...
<and that is all I am gonna say about that>

Speaking of Colchar...has anyone seen him since he got his tights in a wad when we did not agree that the Canadian ice dancers were 'robbed'?
Perhaps he's taken up ice dance to defend Canada's honor.

There is a tread about this on another forum I belong to. There are Scotts and Brits on the forum so you will get to read some first hand accounts of feelings about the referendum.

I think Colchar picked up his toys and went home. He definitely unfriended me on Facebook. And yes, it was the ice dancing that started it. I made it worse when I discovered that pretty much the entire Canadian women's team goes to US colleges. That pissed me off, and the fact that I was pissed off about it pissed Colchar off.
Thanks for the link, Honor!

Colchar was never one to agree to disagree, he always had to be right. Bless his heart.
You're welcome.

Texas won't secede any time soon. But like the Scots, we do believe we control enough of the oil to not need anyone else. Well, except some of the refineries in LA.
My Grandmother was full Scot, but hasn't been with us for some time. She was a MacPherson...I was always hoping to meet my distant cousin, Elle, but alas that has not yet happened.

Dang. It appears that Colchar de-friended me on FB, too.
And I even traveled to CANADA this year, too.

Twice I went to Canada this year.
I only got my passport stamped once, though. It was a souvenir type thing.

I am pretty sure he unfriended me around the time we had an argument here about what Kate Middleton would be called after she married William.
I was in Canada earlier this year too.

I think it's sad to cut ties just because of a disagreement or two. We're all entitled to our own opinions.

Colin Graham. I just checked and I'm still his friend. So is Lavabe, but he's the only mutual friend we have, so the rest of you are out!
