I just listened to Coach Cut's 5 pm update and he stated he has not had his formal meeting with the medical staff, but in 2 or 3 informal talks neither injury is considered season ending. Cut says the medical staff feels a lot better today than yesterday in regard to Dez Johnson and Lucas Patrick.

This is HUGE! Hopefully Cut is correct and these guys are back by mid-October or sooner. I have heard that Johnson has stepped up as a vocal leader and emotional leader in that defensive huddle, would really hurt to lose him.
