Max has been sick for 3 1/2 weeks. He has been tested for mono, hepatitis, etc. So far, nothing has shown up. His spleen is enlarged. He is jaundice but not as much as he was a couple of weeks ago. His back More labs were done yesterday and the numbers are not as good as they were. Bud is working on getting him seen at Duke. We are very worried.

Thanks to all of you. We thought for awhile it was mono. Oh how we wish it had been. It's so scarey, not knowing. He did go to their prom last night, as Lauren had her dress and his tux had been paid for. Dawn said he went on pure adrenalin. He was exhausted when he got him. I'm glad he went. Hoping we find out soon and he can get well.

Max is worse this morning. Bud suggested to not wait for an appointment at Duke but to take him to the Duke ER. They are on their way.

Max is being worked up at the ER. The ER docs say this is way beyond them. They're trying to decide whether or not to admit him. I hope they do. His fever is up to 100.7 after ibuprofen at 12:30 this afternoon and his liver and spleen are enlarged and palpable.
