I was listening to local sports radio on the way home from work and learned that Coach K's brother passed away. I know I've been out of it for a week because of the flu, but I did not think I had missed something this big. Did anyone else know?

Never the less, condolences to the Krzyzewski family. Coach won't be at the Notre Dame game as he will be at his brother's funeral.

He died on the 26th.

I read this on facebook & assumed everyone knew! Sorry I should've posted! Prayers to the family!

I didn't know it when we were at the game on Saturday, but I did notice Mickie K's absence, and I wondered what was going on. I also noticed the players being extremely tight with Coach K in the pre-game festivities. After the game I read about Bill K's death, and it all made sense.

My heart goes out to the entire family. Coach K was very close to his big brother.
